Why 16 Oils?

Every hair oil aisle looks the same — bold claims, a long ingredient list, and mineral oil doing most of the actual work. We wanted the opposite: one bottle, sixteen named oils, and nothing to hide.

Botanical 16 started with a simple question: what if we stopped chasing one miracle ingredient, and instead combined the sixteen oils that traditional hair care has trusted for generations — cold-pressed, and otherwise left alone?

We don’t sell shortcuts. We sell sixteen oils, done properly.

The Beginning

Sixteen, Sourced With Care

Almond and Argan from trusted growers, Bhringraj and Amla from farms that have supplied Ayurvedic households for decades, cold-pressed Olive alongside kitchen staples like Curry Leaf and Onion.

Every oil is sourced individually, then brought together in one small-batch blend — nothing pooled from a generic supplier, nothing substituted just because a name was easier to source than the real thing.

How It's Made

Cold-Pressed. Nothing Else.

Heat and chemical solvents are the fastest way to extract oil — and the fastest way to strip it of what makes it useful. We cold-press every batch instead, keeping the process slow enough to protect what's naturally there.

It costs more and takes longer. We think that's the point.

The Promise

Nothing Hidden. Nothing Added.

No mineral oil. No silicones. No parabens. No synthetic fragrance masking what's actually inside. Every oil is named on the label because every oil is meant to be there.

The amber glass bottle exists to protect what we cold-pressed — not to dress up something we didn't.

Ready?

Sixteen oils. One bottle.

Everything on this page, distilled into one ritual.
